Re: How is Villa Lombarti
I hear it is awesome but a bit pricey but most good places are. If you really like it I'd suggest a Friday night or Sunday night to keep the cost down.Sorry I couldn't be more help on this. I'm sure other girls on the board will be able to help.

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
Hi LisaAnne. I am having my wedding at Villa Lombardi's in May 2004. I have heard nothing but great things about the place before and after I booked them. I was afraid that they were going to be way out of our price range but they were about the same as other halls we visited. You should go to their upcoming showcase this month so you can taste their food. They offer so much on their menu it is crazy! If you have any specific questions I will be happy to answer you.

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
I personally don't think their prices are that bad. We looked at Villa Lombardi's and for a Sunday in September 2004 they quoted us $80pp. plus tax plus tip.

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
I went to a wedding there last year on a Saturday night and it was incredible. The amount of food was enough to feed an army and it was delicious. I'm not sure what they paid, but it was definitely beautiful.

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
My girlfriend got married there last August and everything was fanastic!!!!! I think their prices are pretty reasonable if you stick with the basics (my GF wanted 8 entree options so I know she paid more). My only issue with Villa Lombardi's - they're good and they know they have an awesome reputation so they're a bit on the snooty side. When I called they wouldn't even tell me over the phone if my date was available
. I found that extremely annoying and kinda turned me off to them. JMO!!!

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
I have only heard rave reviews about the food and service, I personally didnt like pink terracota or big extravegant decor so I didnt bother looking but I think they are a good choice by word of mouth.Good Luck!

My DH Aunt went to a wedding their last year. She can't stop raving about the food and service. She is one of those old style Italians that like to cook and if she said everything was good...then I believe her.

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
Yes, they are a little snooty. You have to meet with them in person to even see if the date you want is available. My wedding is in prime season on a Saturday night. The price was ridiculous and the minimum amount of people was crazy for us also. That's why we went with Larkfield Manor. But, if you can afford it and have a big guest list, I heard Villa Lombardis gives a great wedding.

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
I went to a wedding there in April and it was really nice. There was a ton of food!I called them when we were looking for a place for our wedding. I had heard that they were already pretty booked up for 2003 so I called them. I asked if they could at least tell me if the dates we were looking for were open b/c we live an hour and a helf away and we were limited on when we could have the wedding so we didn't want to drive all the way out there for nothing. Well, the girl was NOT NICE AT ALL and said someone would call me back......they never did. Needless to say, we never went there and decided we did not want to deal with anyplace that would disregard us like that

Re: How is Villa Lombarti
I remember from my GF's comments that they're also a little pushy when it comes time to make decisions. That's why they won't give dates over the phone - they want you to come down so they can pressure you into changing your date if yours isn't available. I mean the place is absolutely gorgeous (if that's your style) and I think they realize once people get down there, it's hard to say no!!Best of luck!!
