.... to take e-pics and send them out?? i want to do them myself with a digital camera but that obviously takes time and i feel that when i finally get everything done and send them out its gonna be like june
so how late is too late???

I don't think its too late for anyone. Everyone does them at different times. I am having mine done tomorrow but that is because I am on vacation this week and I had time. FH's brother got them done a few months before they got married. I mean I wouldn't do them like 4 months before your wedding but I think you are fine right now.

I haven't scheduled my e-pic shoot yet but hope to do it this month or next, so that I can then use them for STDs, which I would like to make myself this summer.

i was going to take a nice pic of the 2 of us with a digital camera and print up something nice on the computer announcing our engagement and send them out to friends and family.... but your idea is good too!!

I was thinking about framing them and setting up a section up at my eparty/wedding to display them. I thought this is what they are used for. But yeah STD's are a good idea also. I dont think I will be sending out STD's, well maybe I will see. I will have to use my 'creative side', lol, hoping if I make them myself they will come out nice

We are blowing one up and displaying it by the seating cards/guestbook at the wedding

we are going to have them taken within the next month, use them for the eparty and wedding BUT also, our photographer makes place cards for the reception with an engagement pic of our choice (since the eshoot is included in our package). Thats an added touch.. and you can send them out with thank yous for eparty gifts!!
and grandparents love them and will plaster their walls with them

Ohhhhhhh I love the idea of having your pic on the place cards, that is a nice touch and very different.

When I met with a photographer, they said that from our e-pics, we can choose one large portrait to be displayed at our wedding for when our guests arrive
