How late were you when they decided to induce??

I was due on the 5th and have an appointment tomorrow morning. I know they won't let me go past two weeks but I was wondering if it is usually sooner than that. I am getting very anxious to hold my daughter in my arms and know that she is healthy and safe! Thanks.

I was induced at almost 41 weeks BUT I was starting to show signs of toxemia. If it were the case that I were completely healthy as was the baby, we would have waited for nature to take it's place.

I know it's hard because they give you an EDD and you look so forward to it, but unfortunately babies come on their own time. Last time I didn't go much by my EDD, I went more by the 2 weeks late prospective so that I didn't get my hopes up too high and I will again this time.

You might not want to rush to inducement...it can (not saying will, but can) change your labor patterns and put you at a higher risk of a c/s.

My doctor was going to let me go 2 weeks past but I went into labor 10 days past my due date.
