WOW, 9.5 years! That's a Looong time! You have alot of patience! :D
I waited 3 years before he proposed on our 3rd anniversary. My family started dropping hints to him after 2 years. :D
We're in our thirties so it's 'chop chop!' :)

We had been together 2 yrs when he proposed... We'll be engaged 2 yrs (his idea), then he wants to wait 2 yrs before we try to have children (we both want 2 boys, 2 girls). Everything is two's with this man o' mine!

his parents met when they were 14 and have been together for 28 years
my parents met when my mom was 17, my dad was 25 and they have been together 40 years!
we have good role models!
