Girls, I have a Question. How much extra time are you putting on your invitations? My wedding starts at 7:00pm. Do you girls think I should put down 6:30 or 6:45?

It was suggested by my RH to have a 30 min earlier call time.

Re: How long
We didn't put any extra time on the invitations. Our ceremony starts at 2 but the priest said we'll be the only wedding that day so if we start late its ok

Re: How long
I'm putting the correct time. It's a wedding, and if people can't be on time, that's their problem not mine. I'm not waiting to walk down the aisle just because a few of my guests can't look at a clock. JMO.

6:30
I think a half hour grace period is the best way to go.

Re: How long
We're putting 30 minutes early. His side of the family is consistently late to EVERYTHING...they say it's a cultural thing but I call bullshyt on that - it's just plain rude. However, I don't want to be walking down the aisle as some latecomers are scurrying in. Half an hour it is.

Holy crap. I put the right time! Invites are already printed. Oh well. It will just be us and the bridal party! I didn't know that I should do this! Our cocktail hour is immediately after.
