Re: how long...
They usually give you about an hour. You can definitely do a few in one day.

Re: how long...
About an hour to an hour and a half. I personally loved Village Bridal and Paradise Bridal because they let me try on dress after dress- we were at Paradise until well after the store had closed! But we did end up purchasing the dress there! So far they've been a dream with the alterations and everything! Love them there!

1.5-2 hours
most places that ive been to gave me 1.5 hours
but no one actually kicked me out... except kleinfelds the lady was literally looking at her watch every 5 minutes...and continually pointed out the time constraint

Re: how long...
It really depends on where you go.
Some places only allowed me up to an hour (and trust me they stuck to it). Other places let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. I'd say the longest appt. I had was 1.5 hours, but the lady knew she was most likely going to be making a sale with me so she didn't seem to mind. We are actually going back this Saturday to order my dress!

Re: how long...
I went to Paradise bridal and was there for 3.5 hours. No one seemed to mind and the girl kept bringing out more and more dresses. Then I found 'the one'.
I also went to Lilettes, I was there for about 1.5 hours and the woman just stopped bringing out dresses at that point.

Re: how long...
I went to two shops, the 1st one took 1 hour and the second one took 10 minutes...I literally fell in love with the 1st dress at the second location. It helps to prepare by searching on line and having a list of parts that you love of a dress. (e.g. material type, dress style, beading, strapless, color...etc, etc.) Coming in with ideas will help the attendent steer you in the right direction.
