Trying to figure out the best way to arrange this, I'm sure I will want to get out of dodge almost immediately...=)
We're leaving the Thursday after our Saturday wedding. Airfare was much cheaper this way.
We are waiting til Jan. Our wedding is Dec. We dont wanna be gone for christmas or get back right before. I'm a hairdresser and dont wanna be gone for 3 weeks and/or leave my clients hanging. His parents have a condo in Montauk. So we're gonna go there for the weekend and celebrate our new life together..
It seems that most of you lovely ladies have the same idea. I think within 2 days is perfect because everything will still be so fresh and exciting. Perfect!
wedding saturday, leaving monday
wedding is the saturday, we are leaving the monday, I'm using the Sunday to get minute things together and to braid my daughters hair (lol) that's something my mom says she is not doing.
we want some time to go through everything and settle everything so we are gunna wait a few days. maybe 3 or 4.
FH is a teacher so we are waiting three months until the summer time to go on our hm
We got married on Saturday and left very early Monday morning.....
My response doesnt even quite fit within the poll so I wont even answer there - I'll just post here. We got married Sat night - reception went until 1 am & we left @ 545am several hours later.... & yes we were EXHAUSTED!
