How long before do you start to get ready?

I have obviously me and 4 others plus 2 little ones for both hair and makeup. We are all getting ready at my sisters house.

How long before do you start to get ready?

My DOC told me to give each girl an hour for hair and 30 min for make up. They also said you don't want to get into your dress to early. They recommended I get into my dress about an hour before the limo gets there. It should save enough time for pics with my girls in between.

How long before do you start to get ready?

So many different factors to take into account. Are you getting rollers? How many hairdressers? make-up artists? When is the photographer coming?
See when the photographer is coming? You will need about 1.5 hours to take prop photos (bouquets, rings, invitations, etc), getting ready photos, photos with family and bridal party.
1- Decide when photographer is coming
2- Based on the above, you will have a better time of when to be finished with hair/make-up
3- Ask your hair/make-up people how long they need for getting ready. Also, decide if you want professional getting ready shots from the photographer.

we worked backwards from the reveal with limo pick ups to figure out who needs to be ready by when
we also figured that we only have 1 photographer & videographer who may need to jump around a bit (and this will affect when we need to be ready by)

final step will be confirming hair & make up and discussing with those vendors

(kind of like sandr325 said now that i typed it out lol)

Here is my morning-of time run down:

Make-up & hair is coming at 10:00 AM for three of us using their services,
Photographer & videographer comes at 1:30 PM,
Limo comes at 2:30 PM,
My ceremony is at 3:30 PM.

i was in an 11AM wedding a few years back.
i remember we were at her house at 5 or 530AM

How long before do you start to get ready?

We are starting hair and make up at 8:30AM for 4 girls. The photographer is coming at 12:30-1:00 and the limo comes at 2:30.

I'm getting married early so my hair and makeup will be over around 630 in the morning bc my photographer will be at my house at 9 so the sooner the better

I'm getting ready at 6AM with my 4 bridesmaids. I already spoke to my makeup/hair artist to bring an assistant as I don't want to get up at 4!

Another thing to considered is when you want your pics taken. FH and I are taking pics before our 12:00 ceremony so we can enjoy cocktail hr

How long before do you start to get ready?

My salon told me when to come. They based it on when the photog was arriving. For a bridal party of 6, we are getting there 3 hours beforehand.

I say leave like 2 to 3 hours...better to over estimate time than underestimate

I thought I had plenty of time and wouldn't have my BMs at my house early but from what everyone is saying, they will have to be by my house crack of dawn.
