How long before the wedding did...

Everyone choose their dress? I am trying to wait until the last possible minute. Thanks for the help

about 10 months before the wedding. I ordered it mid Jan and it came in mid June. My first fitting is Aug 2nd..

Thanks you guys are making me feel better. I have about 11 months and want to wait at least another month or so. Thanks again for the input.

Take it from me...I got engaged in March and had to do a mad dash to look for a dress. I ended up buying a beautiful Lazaro dress, but afterwards I wished I had had more time to really look at 'everything'. Sometimes the more you try on the harder decision gets...but I would have preferred it that way. Maybe I wouldn't have had so many doubts then...who knows :)

So keep trying on dresses and go back again and again and retry on your favorites until you find THE ONE.

You have PLENTY of time.

Murray, you made me feel a little better, as you are my date twin and I was getting nervous about having a first fitting in August, but now I see you are too.

I ordered mine in February, it's coming in mid-July and my first fitting is the first week in August.

I had a 9 month engagement and ordered my dress at 6 months and received it in 2months.

I found my dress six months before the wedding. I have a seven month engagement.

10 months - not even and they we're pushing me to get it sooner. Watch... It will be here in 3 weeks and i will have stressed for absolutely nothing as usual.. I hear 8 months is fine for most One place even told me they could do Eve of Milady in that amount of time.. GOOD LUCK!
