I ordered mine 8 months before. I just wanted to get it out the way.

We're going May 31st with some of the guys..I have a few OOT, so they'll either get measured where they live & send me measurements or when they visit they'll get measured. I wanted to do it earlier, but that's the only weekend in May or June that we're not busy!

we went to mens wear house last weekend and set up our account and they said anytime for 2 months before to 2 weeks before for the guys to get measured

We went to pick out ours about 2 months ago... I would say 2-3 months to give the guys enough time to go & get fitted...

Were actually going tomorrow. We went sunday to look and tomorrow were starting the order and FH and his BM will go and then everyone else can go when they want.

Tux store said to give them at least 8 weeks. I am trying to get fh to go now so it is done

You can just go and get it out of the way but I wouldn't do it more than 6 months in advance because most tux places get new stock in and such.

DH went and took care of it 3 months before the wedding.

Fh decided he doesn't want to yet. We are getting married in July. The at the tux place said as long as the GM are measured by the week before there is no problem but Its driving me crazy. I finally told him i don't care i have my attire.
