just out of curiosity, how long after giving birth to a baby do you have to wait to safely start trying for another? thanks!

I believe the dr would probably want you to wait a few months for your body to heal first.

My doc told me to wait at least 6-9 months. After each birth he said that time will increase, so after the second birth he'd recommend waiting 1 year, etc, etc

My doctor suggested waiting 6 months. We will try right after that again. We'd like to be blessed with another so they can be close in age.
My girlfriend got preggo again within three months and now she has 'irish twins' they are born exactly one day short of being a year to the date apart.
She gave birth to Morgan the day before Sammy's birthday this year.

I have 2 other siblings, and we are all 13 months apart.
She had 3 kids in 2 1/2 years!!
I would love for my kids to be close in age too.
I think the doctors would normally tell you to wait 3 - 6 months before trying again.
