Coco is almost four months and sometimes he's great with the pad and then all of a sudden he'll use my living room floor. He's a yorkie which I heard can take a long time to housebreak.

Re: How long before your pet was housebroken?
hmm. Lukin was very hard for me. He wasnt fully trained until 8 months I dont know if it was his stubborness or my ignorance. He was the first dog I ever had to train. Once we moved to the city I was forced to walk him and he was like instantly trained! Tink was trained by like 3 or 4 months. Dharma came trained. Toy dogs are hard to potty train .Do you cratre?

He's inth crate a lot... but he is also out most of the time when we are home. He goes every few hours since he's so little. He's been great the last two weeks and today he pooped 2x on the floor and peed in the kitchen. I don't get why sometimes he's good with it and then othertimes it's like he has no idea.

We got lucy when she was about 11 weeks old. She stopped having regular accidents about 3 weeks later. It took her probably another 3 weeks before she realized how to let us know that she had to go out.
We were really lucky with her though, we didnt crate or paper train and she just caught on really quickly, since then she has had probably 4 accidents in the house (shes now 6 months old)

Golem will be 6 months old next week, and he was fully housebroken once he was around 4 mos old. He was very quick to catch on for the most part - it was the crate he had trouble with bc he had to work up to holding it all day while we were at work. But he's great now and we've been accident free for over two months! It really varies from dog to dog though.

I got my Charlie at 8 weeks old and from day one I brought him right outside every couple of hours so he could go. I don't remember how long it took for him to be housebroken, but it wasn't too long at all.
