How long before everyone's weddings did you start your menus, placecards, table numbers, wedding wands, etc..??
I started some things as early as a year and a half beforehand. It depends....some things like menus, you may want to wait until its finalized (so maybe like 3 months beforehand), but other things, like the bathroom baskets you may be able to do a year beforehand (as long as nothing you put in expires). I always say the earlier the better!
I am the the 3 month mark and have not done a single DIY project yet. YIKES
I think I started my DIY projects around the 1-year mark. It's not that I had to start that early, I just wanted to get some things out of the way. Other things you have to wait until you get closer until you can do.
depends on the project like placecards can't be done until you get your rsvps...but anything that you can do a head of time I strongly suggest you do.
i am about 10 mos out and i have flip flop basket, cry packs, std's, favors/placecards (of course minus the name and table number) ch CP's, Card box, are all done so far......i am really trying to not leave anything for last minute except the programs......we shall see :)
I started some as far in advance as a year, and others a few months in advance. I finished printing the programs after I finalized music with the DJ two weeks ago, although the layout and the design was complete 4 months ago.
I am waiting until the winter when I am stuck in the house
