How long between the ceremony and.....

Just wondering how long everyone has between the ceremony and the CH.

We only have about 10-15 minutes. I guess its as long as it takes for all of our guests to exit the church and walk 250 feet to the reception hall.

Our ceremony is at 4 & the CH starts at 7...That leaves them 2 1/2 hours

I'm a little worried since the ceremony starts at 2:30 and will probably last about an hour. Depending when the CH starts (hopefully not 7pm) that could leave a huge gap.

I also have a few OOT guests and don't know what to do about that.

i figured with our wedding on a Friday evening, there will not be too many people except for immediate family & friends at the ceremony...People who come to the church will most likely head back to my parents house or the hotel prior to the CH

I wish I could get the church moved up but unfortunatly they only had 2 times to choose from!

We're getting married on a friday. We're having a 3:30 ceremony (Mass) and an 8:00 CH. There will be about 2 1/2-3 hrs in between (when you factor in the hour for the mass and travel time). We'll have extra time but then again no one will have to rush to get to an earlier CH.
ETA: I was a BM last year and it took almost 2 1/2 hours for pictures (including bride and groom, family pics, and BP pics) but it could probably be done in less time.

right now, we have the church at 3:30 in Brooklyn and the CH starts at 7pm in LI. Our BM said we would not be able to start the CH at 6, so I am thinking of asking FBIL to host a small gathering at his home (5mins from church) for any one that goes to the ceremony and has no place to go/nothing to do in the mean time.

Ceremony is at 3:00 PM on a Sunday in Queens and the CH is at 6:30 PM in Long Island. I think this is good... Fox Hollow told me that if anyone gets there early they will accomodate them. That made me happy.

takes a half hour to get there from the church so roughtly 2.5 hours in between

i want to be there for my cocktail hour so
i dont mind the time in between

ceremony is at 4, CH is at 7. 2 hours or so for people to get started on the drinking at my house while we are taking pictures

Ceremony is at 3pm and is a 1 hour mass probably ending around 4:30 (with recieving line) and the reception starts at 6:30

I guess 2 hours...which I hated at first BUT now I know that I need time to take pics because I don't want to miss the cocktail hour

my ceremony starts at 3:30 and its a full mass, the ch starts at 6, possibly 6:30, no later. thats about 3 hours in-between. and it probably takes about 40 minutes to get from the church to the hall. frankly, i'm not worried about what the guests are going to do in-between. i'm not responsbile for that, they can figure it out themselves
