Just wondering how long everyone has between the ceremony and the CH.

Our ceremony is at 4 & the CH starts at 7...That leaves them 2 1/2 hours
THAT IS WHAT WE ARE LEAVING 2 1/2 HOURS BETWEEN THE CEREMONEY AND THE CH

Our church is at 2:00 and we have a big wedding party and should have a large receiving line. The CH starts at 6:30. Do you think that is too long?

we have a 3 hr. gap. I hate to make everyone go home before CH but it was either that or change the date to July and I don't want to wait anylonger than I have to.

Same thing for us, we have alot of OOT guests but we are giving them transportation to the Westbury Manor from the hotel, the church is literally down the street from the hotel so they will just have to be back at the hotel by 5:15..
We are hoping to get all of our pics done before the cocktail hour, b/c we want to definitely be there for it..

Ceremony @ 4:30pm and CH @8pm and I plan on taking pictures at my hall because of the beautiful ground

my ceremony starts at 3:30 and its a full mass, the ch starts at 6, possibly 6:30, no later. thats about 3 hours in-between. and it probably takes about 40 minutes to get from the church to the hall. frankly, i'm not worried about what the guests are going to do in-between. i'm not responsbile for that, they can figure it out themselves
I guess I was a bit too concerned what my guests would do between that time. Maybe they won't show for the ceremony.

MY church is at 4pm and the reception is at 7:30pm but its a friday so not many people will be at the church and it gives the rest of the people time to get to the reception I might even do the church at 3pm so we make sure we have time for pictures and what not
