i went to see a photog who said the 2nd person included in the package would only stay through the end of the ceremony/pics and would not be at the reception at all. this seems weird to me since so many of the candid/photojournalist shots come from the later part of the evening. what do you think of this?
TIA!

Re: how long did 2nd photog stay?
The second photographer came with the first at 9am to my house to take photos of us getting ready. One stayed with me and my friends and the other went with DH and his friends. Both stayed until midnight.

both photographers were with us all day. One came to my house while I was getting reaady and one went to my DH's house while he was getting ready. They left after the reception was over!

Ours stayed until dessert which is when the photographer usually leaves. Have you tried Thomas Paul just out of curiosity?

Re: how long did 2nd photog stay?
We had both photographers for the same amount of time - all day.
One photog came to my house while I was getting ready. The other went to DH's house while he was getting ready. Then they both took pics at the ceremony, after the ceremony, and at the reception.

Re: how long did 2nd photog stay?
this is normal
I had 2 photographers - one started out at my house and one at his house...both then met up and took shots at the church, pics at the gardens after the church and then one left right before the reception and I had the other one for the party - honestly, that was more than enough because we still got TONS of party pics and all the best shots. I do think it is a good idea to have 2 so you both get 'getting ready' shots and you have 2 different 'views' when you are taking your formal shots because they don't capture the same thing - one is shooting you dead on, the other is shooting a pic of your BM wiping a tear...or the giggle or look you give each other because you have 'smile freeze' etc...
I used twelfth night and this is how they worked out the 2 photographer thing for me and it worked out perfectly and I love all my pics
