I dont completely understand the poll. Arent you basically ovulating during one week in the month? I think a TTC question is better asked in terms of months. With that said, I can answer that both times I have been preggo, I got pregnant the first month. I feel very lucky b/c I do know that people try for alot longer often.

Now that I re-read the poll, I realize how ridiculous it looks.
Because my periods are irregular, I have to try for the entire month (because I don't know when I am ovulating). That's why I phrased the question that way.
For all of you who get AF on a consistent basis and actually know when you are ovulating (like 90% of the population), I guess you can just select 1st week for 1st month, meaning your first shot.
Am I making any sense? Maybe I'm not ready to be a mom after all of this nonsense!

My period was out at whack also and I took 7 ovulation tests when we were TTC. I never got a positive, but I did get pregnant. Just 'have fun' every other day and that should help

This is our first month TTC and I was wondering the same thing. I was actually going to post something similar on this board to get an idea. I always thought I could do this without stressing during the two week waiting period, but here I am wondering about what may be going on inside.

It took DH and I 7 months. We actually found out we were pregnant on our five year wedding anniversary. I was starting to get frustrated and the month I found out I was convinced I wasn't pregnant but SURPRISE I was. Our little girl is due in 9 more weeks!!!!!

Jenn, your words are encouraging. It's very hard having an irregular period while trying to plan for your future! It looks like it's pretty much split (half took under six months, half took over six months). Everybody is so different. I wish there was an easier way to plan for this stuff! Thank you all for responding. This has been very helpful.
