How long did it take for your bridesmaids' dresses to arrive?
I have less than 7 months and I still have not chosen dresses! How much time do I have? How long did yours take?

Most places told me 12-16 weeks, though I ended up ordering through RKBridal, and they said 8-12 weeks, but they came in 3 weeks!!!

my dresses are estimated to be in in late may early june and they were ordered 2 weeks ago. They are Jim Hjelm

i ordered mine october 1 and they came in january 3. they are bill levkoff.

I ordered mine the end of December....and i just got the call that they came in already! It's so ridiculous they try to scare you and make you order so early. Who knows maybe different manufacturers are slower than others... I'm sure you'll have plenty of time!! Good luck.

I think it depends by the place.... My girls ordered in early October and I think they are going to come in 2 months before because the place waited to order them?
We just added another BM who hasn't ordered her dress yet and I was told they usually need 5 months of lead time before incurring a rush fee. They told me they are telling their August brides to get their orders in NOW, so you should be fine but I wouldn't wait much longer.
Did you find a dress you like yet?

I think so... Davinci/Impressions and Jordan have a royal blue satein which isn't too dark or too purpley. I really wanted to do chiffon but the colors just look so much better in satin.

I ordered them in August but they are not even shipping until February 22nd so they should be here in March

Thats weird, cause i ordered my Jim Hjelm dresses a few weeks ago and they told me they would be shipped march 15th, so i should have them end of march

My girls ordered their dresses at the end of October and they came in two weeks ago. So... about 3 months.

FYI you may get yours earlier then expected. Mine are Jim Hjelm also and we ordered the second week in Dec and i got the call on Wed that they were here so i would say it took 6-7 weeks. I couldnt believe how fast that was.

I ordered a couple of weeks ago and they told us it will be ready in 4 months which is May. The dress is Impressions

I think it took about 3 months you should have plenty of time but I wouldn't wait too long cause your during the busy wedding season so you don't want there to be a problem!!

I ordered mine in early October (also from Lillettes) and they said to expect them in 2 months before my wedding. I think they just sit on the order and wait until it gets closer to your date. If i knew that I wouldn't have encouraged my girls to order them that early....
and it's frustrating, because I wish they would come in already. it's been 4 months... and it will be 6 more?
