How Long Did It Take For Your Wedding Gown To Come In?????
Hi, I am thinking on getting married May 2007 but I am worried that my wedding gown won't be done in time. Anyone else have 8 months or less to get their gown? also, on average how long did it take everyone to get their gowns? HELP

um,, yea. I was told 10-12 months. I ordered mine in may, needed a hollow to hem, and it came in yesterday.
i think it depends on the manufacturer and store, but they can get dresses in pretty fast!

stores usually order the dresses so that they arrive 2 months before your wedding. i ordered mine in late may of 05 and it arrived in april 06. HTH!!!

I have a june wedding i ordered my gown last month they told me that it would be in late january early february.

I ordered mine right around Halloween time last year and it was in by the end of April I believe.

I ordered mine in July and it's due to come in Februray. The lady I worked with at Wedding Atelier told me to expect it to be earlier though!
I think you will be fine! Just start shopping..and remember to take pics to show us

That's very true! While a lot of dresses (with heavy beading work) may take a long time to make, a lot of bridal stores don't actually order the dresses right away. A good average is about 12 wks. That's what it took for mine.

RK bridal was great to work with. They told me my dress would take 5-7 months to come in - it arrived in less than 3!

I bought my gown at RK Bridal and my dress was supposed to take 3 months to come in, and it only took 2!

about 6 1/2 months but i agree with what someone else said i think they time it so it comes in about 3 months before your wedding

i ordered mine mid november and it was supposed to be in by may, but it didnt mke it until june or july.

Totally depends on th edesigner - if it's a company not in the US it takes longer. Mine took 9 months.

agreed. i ordered mine in january and was told 3-4 months. it arrived within 1.

I think they'll work with you if you give them an early date. I originally was going to get married this November and I went shopping for the dress in July. They said they were able to do it.
