How long did it take until people started receiving ...

your invites, after you mailed them out?
I'm just a little worried because I just mailed mine (and still have 50 to mail tomorrow), and my RSVP date is October 3.

So just, on average, how long does the mail generally take?

I know I should know this already. LOL but i never pay attention to mail.

oh - wow. i thought it would take a 4-5.
OK, so if that's true then I'm not as worried. Although a lot of my invites are out-of-state, which makes a difference, right?

I mailed mine at about 3 pm on Tuesday and people received them yesterday! I couldn't believe that the post office delivered them the next day!!

yes it does. some of my out of state invites took a whole week to arrive I was shocked.

I guess I'm the only one that has had a long and sordid history with the post office!

yes it does. some of my out of state invites took a whole week to arrive I was shocked.

For local mail (within NYC & LI) it takes about a day or 2.

Within the tri state area - within 2-3 days

Outside the tri-state area - anywhere from 3-7 days depending on location. On average, I've seen it usually take 3-4 days at most.

I have a friend I'm inviting who is in Alaska, I wonder how long her invite will take to get to her?

Alaska? wow that's interesting... I bet it takes at least a week... I have a few in California - I think those are my furthest invites...
