How long did it take you............

to find THE gown?

I've tried on 4 so far and i'm going back tonight. i'm afraid if i love something tonight i'll go with it, but regret it later in the year.

You have plenty of time so don't wonder how many. Just make sure you are happy with your gown. I looked at every website with pictures and probably tried on over 2 dozen

you'll know when you find it. It took me four weekends and a few dozen dresses. I know I picked the right dress but I can't help but 2nd guess.

I haven't looked yet but I am sooo scared that I'll end up wanting a different one because i return everything...cell phones, shoes, everything! im the worst!

I'm not much of a shop person, even when it comes to this. I hate trying on then taking off over n over. So if i find something my second time around i may go with it. i definately wont' make a choice tonight though. my mother would kill me if i made a decision with out her. she's paying for it. i'm taking my MOH tonight.

Granted I do have plenty of time, but i'm one of those people that if it's not done way in advance, i start to flow into MAJOR PANIC MODE

it's not a pretty site when that happens

I went 'preliminary' shopping to 2 places with my mom and FMIL, and found one that I loved after trying on about 25.

Then went to another store with mom, FMIL and MOH, and thought I found 'another ONE'.

Then I went back to the first ONE and realized that was it.

I didn't have a moment of revelation, nor did my mother cry, (still still makes fun of me for being mad that she didn't cry).

Don't mean to sound snotty or anything, but almost all the dresses I legitimately tried on (not the 'just for fun' dresses), looked really good, thus making my decision even harder.

I am very bad at making final decisions, so I really had to debate.

You may have already tried it on and not realized how much you really do like it.

So, what I am trying to say is, if you keep thinking about one dress, and compare it to all the others, go back and try it on again, especially after you think you like another one. If you are still torn, that usually means the first one is sticking with you, and that's it!

What would be great is if one store had both dresses! Usually doesn't work out that way!

I think I'll be having a hard time deciding too! I'm actually going for the first time this Sunday.. I am sooooooooo nervous.

my first experience was back on february 26th. i was so nervous that i actually felt like i was gonna be sick. i didn't touch my breakfast or finish my coffee. i was so nervous that the ladies were not going to be nice, but the lady that helped me calmed me down and was very nice.

wow, thats awesome u found it so quickly. i've tried on 4 so far and the 4th one i tried was beautiful. the lady wrote it down on my sheet. so maybe after tonight's 5 or so i'll be trying on i'll have my decision.

Congratulations. I really like Stewart Manor too! You're not too far after mine, and I haven't even stepped foot in a salon yet!!!! I think I am behind now- and I am really indecisive to boot!

I tried on about 6 the first time I went out looking then went out again the following night because nothing hit me the night before and Found 'THE ONE' and realized that one of the reasons I did not like anything the night before was because I can't wear a WHITE dress. I went with ivory and it is much more flattering for me. Everyone told me when you find the one, you will know.
