How long did it take you to get used to calling your FH 'fiance' ? did you slip and call him your boyfriend a few times at first?

yes ive def called him my bf and then stopped myself and said 'i meant fiance' but it def sounds soo weird to me but i love it!! haha

I still called him BF for like a week now i am getting used to people calling me 'the bride' lol FH friend calls me 'wifey' he says i have to get used to it so hes helping me lol

I actually call him 'FH' more than fiance. I do it as a joke, but, it kind of stuck...

I call him my 'beyonce' as a boyfriend/fiance combo. Eases the transition....

I started calling FH my fiance like last week. It's a strange transition but you'll get used to it. Congrats!

I mostly refer to him as my boyfriend, guess I can't transition, but if I say boyfriend in front of him, he always says something like 'oh, we probably shouldnt be getting married if you have a boyfriend'

It's funny because when we were dating I hating calling him my boyfriend because it sounded so young but now that we are engaged I hate calling him fiance because it sounds so old and professional. LOL. I like FH better

lol i still mess up and say boyfriend, he does too! I guess it's going to take us a while! I always correct myself though!

I've been engaged over a year and I'm still not used to it. For some reason it doesn't seem natural to call him my fiance.. maybe I just don't like the word. I still call him my boyfriend sometimes. Sometimes I even call him my husband already! Oops!

ha! my fh does this to me- the beyonce thing
but its not always ... sometimes gf - and then he fixes it
i go back and forth .. it does not stick ... and weve been engaged since christmas!!
i actually want to say husband - it just feel right but too soon!!
