12-13 hours to put them together and individually print EVERY envelope... we invited 220 (about 140 invites, give or take)

OMG!
well, we have them all ready to go with calligraphy already done. plus we have WAY less people to invite than you did. I hope I can get them put together in 1 evening.

Me, my mom, and my friend stuffed them and it took us about 2-3 hours (including last minute trip to the post office at 9pm for 60-cent stamps)

the printing took up most of the time, i dont think stuffing them was too bad,,, but thats b/c DH pretty much did all of the stuffing and half the printing ( i guess it couldve taken less tie if i pitched in but he did it while i was out running 'wedding errands')

I'm on my third day of working on them... It's the printing that took up so much time... And then tomorrow we will get everything together to be sent out... so I guess like four days... Could have been done quicker but of course I messed up a few invitations so I ran out b/c I didn't buy enough... and I bought them in NY so my mom had to go to Office Max in NY and get another box for me.................. They should have been in the mail already, but of course not!

It took about 1-2 hours. We set up an assembly line and just passed them down. Each person was in charge of something different (putting in the inserts, putting the invire in the inner envelope then outer, sealing the envelope and stamping). I was surprised how fast it went.

I had a calligrapher but then it still took me I would say about 8 or 9hrs at least to do them. We have a lot of out of towners so I had to keep looking to see who gets hotel info (I had a list of who got it). I am also a perfectionist so that didnt help matters.
I think a normal person could have done it in under an hour

I had them done by a calligrapher and had approx 200 invites and it took me about 2 hours to do everything! I did have one other helper but she didnt help much
Make sure you have enough stamps on hand!!

I had a calligrapher address the outer and inner envelopes, but they were not in order so 1st I had to organize them, put the number on the reply card, stuff two envelopes and stamp reply and outer and seal. For 200 invites it took over 5 hours. DF helped stick stamps on the envelopes and did some inner envelope stuffing. Oh yeah, how could I forget the tissue paper...what joy...used it for both the invite and the reply card.

Re: How long did it take you to put your invites together?
I had prited invites and caligraphy. It took about 3 nights. (so maybe 8 hours)
1. I have to pair up the inner and out envelopes. 2. I had to print directions (the longest directions in history ...) 3. I numbered each RSVP card, so they have to be paired up with a specific inviation set. This takes longer before hand, but saves you a lot of time afterwards. So many people have poor handwritting and similar names.

We have our envelopes being done by a calligrapher; I'm hoping the stuffing process doesn't take more than 4 or 5 hours!!
