How long did you date before FH proposed?

I'll start...7 years!! He proposed on our 7 year anniversary.

approx 10 years, 4 months.

our 11 year anniversary is 12/23- so we'll be together 11 years, 4 months on our wedding day. now I gotta do another 50 +(God willing!)...what did I get myself into!!!

ditto! but we met when i was 17 and he was 18 so at the ripe old age of 20 we weren't exactly thinking about planning a wedding. we waited until we were financially secure enough to start a family. whenever i tell anyone that we waited 8 years, they all gasp and wonder why we waited so long!

yes, we were the exact same ages! People have been asking us when we would get married since were were like 19 years old! I always tease FH b/c when we were in college he said that he would hope that I would break up with him if we didn't get engaged within 2 years of graduation (where he got that # I have no idea!) but we had no $$ until now (ok, we still have no $$)
