How long did you date before FH proposed?

I'll start...7 years!! He proposed on our 7 year anniversary.

11 months but we knew each other for about a year before that :)

1 Year, 1 month and 8 days We got married 9 months later. We will be together for 2 years next month

ditto! but we met when i was 17 and he was 18 so at the ripe old age of 20 we weren't exactly thinking about planning a wedding. we waited until we were financially secure enough to start a family. whenever i tell anyone that we waited 8 years, they all gasp and wonder why we waited so long!
