I went this weekend with my sister and it would have only taken a 1/2 hour but we waited for about 10-15 minutes.

It probably depends on the florist. Ours was talking for 15-20 minutes about her work rescuing animals before getting down to business. I would say 30-45 minutes is a good estimate.
