we're having an evening wedding, so really, how many hours do i actually need our photographers for? those brides who have already had their weddings and can give their input, itd be greatly appreciated!
we had our photographer for about 12 hours. She came to my house around 11:30am to take pics of me getting ready. Then she went to the church obviously for the ceremony. We took pics after the church for 2 hours. Then stayed at the reception until about 11:30pm-midnight. After we got alot of things out of the way it was fine for her to leave. When she left, there was only VH still left so it was ok.
I have my photographer for 10 hours -- the wedding ends at 9 so that means I get the photographer starting at 11am -- more than enough time, since he should arrive at the hotel as hair and makeup is finishing up but I haven't gotten dressed or anything yet (so he can take some 'getting ready' pics). Then we were going to the RH about 2.5 hours early to do family posed shots, etc. so we don't have to deal with that later.
My ceremony is at 4, he will be coming at 1:30 to take pics before the ceremony, then staying until 11:45, the reception ends at midnight, he just asked to leave 15 kinutes early to beat the rush out since he lives an hour away.
for me, i'm going to be having him all day pretty much. He'll be there in the morning while we're getting ready, and then he'll come to the ceremony, pics afterwards, and that's it for poses. Once the reception begins he's just going to be taking candids until the end of the night (11pm).
Our ceemony is around 3 so he will be coming to my house at 1 and the other photgrapher will be going to my FH house at 12:30 and both are staying with us until the end of our reception which is aroud 12-12:30
im havin him for 12 hrs..i wanted it all day cause i really just dont want to miss anything
