How long do you have to wait when you get your marriage license?
Could I be in and out during a one hour lunch break?
What do you think is the best time to go? (least amt of waiting)

You can't go alone - you both have to be present to get it -- b/c you both have to sign in front of the town clerk.

Make sure your Fh goes with you and you bring a money order! They don't accept anything else. In terms of time, it really depends on where you go. I went in Queens and spent over 2 hours on the line. We got there probably around noon.
