How long do you keep your old paystubs?

I am having a HUGE problem with my pay that is from over 6 months ago and now I can't find those old paystubs. Just curious what the appropriate time to keep them is?

I am so bad! I hate Clutter!!! I throw everything away! My DH always yells at me. He keeps everything on the desk in the computer room and it looks like a big mess! When I pay a bill I throw the rest of the paper with the bill on it away! I throw away my Pay Stubs as soon as I get it!

Be carefull-- Credit card statements have your account # on every page! Get a shredder- we just did--it's fun.

get one of those accordian folders & keep everything for a year, and just tax stuff for 7. The 7 year stuff shouldn't be alot, so you can put it in a box on a shelf.
