I went dress shopping today with my mom and the one store we went to told us it takes 3-4 months to order a dress. another place told us it takes 6-8 months. does it vary from store to store?? or was the the store just pressuring me to order right away???? I'd appreciate any info. Thanks.

My eve of milady gown took like 10 months! It depends on the designer.

my st. pucchi dress took 4 months (its coming in a week!!!)
but Bridal Reflections told me 10 months. i felt very pressured to buy...
i think it all depends on the designer. maybe if you find the dress you want you can find some girls on here with the same designer and see what their experience was.

It takes about 5 months to come in and another 2 for fittings. I know a lot of people that got dresses like 6-7 months before the wedding. Will you stress if its not in like two months before?. Give yourself time so you dont stress.

I was told 6-8 months ... they said it depends on the designer and how much beadwork, crystals, etc. is on the dress.

My dress took 9 months. It depends on the designer and also the time of the year.
