How long does it take

For someone to cash a check??

We went to FH's couins christening 2 weeks ago and the check was still not cashed yet. I am worried she lost it or something!

i think it is ok 2 ask her, just say hey, i noticed the check we gave you hasnt been deposited, do you still have it??

some people are just slow getting 2 the bank & she may be busy with the baby.

I had the same problem recently with a check i had given as a gift (I didnt have enough cash on me otherwise I always do cash) and it took them like 2 weeks to put it in the bank...
I dont know about you people but my A$$ is at the bank either that day or the next!! I guess thats what happens when you're poor and need all the money you can get! hahah

yeah usally i just give cash but i was lazy and didn't want to go to the bank.

It screws up ur whole checkbook. It drives me crazy when it takes more than 3weeks.

Exactly, but worse than that I was waiting to close the account out. I wound up doing just that. He never tried to cash the check anyway. He must have lost it.
