The contract only takes a few hours for the attorney to draw up, but how long it takes to go to contract will depend on whether you want anything changed/added before you sign.

Ours probably took about 2+ months, we didnt know at the time but the people we were buying from lost the house they were buying so they had to find a new house and wouldnt sign until they had everything squared away with what they were buying!

Believe it or not, one week from when our offer was accepted to both contracts being signed. It is moving VERY fast. Scary!!!
