How long does it take to cut 100 tulle circles?? BIG LIGHT BULB MOMENT AND UPDATE!!!!

A longgggggggggggggggggggggg time!!! I have 29 cut!!!!!! The paper pattern I'm using is certainly getting smaller and smaller, and smaller. Not really, would anyone like to help me cut circles, and get UPC stickers off sandbuckets?????? Back to the circles!!!!! Mary MOB
So glad THE GOOD LORD gave me a common sense idea last night, that I put into action this AM, and as a result, I now have 100+ circles ready for the bubbles!!! I'm not a sewer, but perhaps some of you who are will understand. I got the idea to layer the tulle, and use two circle patterns at a time, thus getting eight circles cut at a time!!!! I was finished in no time AND the circles were much nicer, and more uniform!!!!! On to getting the UPC'S off buckets!!!! I tried the acetone. Didn't work, so I'm going to do the googone, and wash the area off. Mary MOB

I was just going to say you can buy tulle in circles...that is how I made my petal cones.

Thanks, girls!!! I went to A.C.Moore and Michael's, thinking I could get the 'Details' Tool there as well as everything else I needed. But I was told they didn't have a tool like that. And then it was too late to go to The Dollar Tree. So, I will cut them out the old fashioned way tonight. Mary MOB

aw no mary its not a tool....they actually sell them pre-cut in circles.

I'm cracking up!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a lightbulb moment!!!!! It's about time!!!! I don't know why I read Randi's OP, to read tool, instead of tulle!!!!!!!!! Oh, no!!!!!!!!!!!! My brain must have been tired. Anyway, I got it!!!!! The Dollar Tree sells precut tulle circles!!!! Seen any in turquoise? Jody, love your Tootsie pop comparison!!!!! Mary MOB

Save on Crafts has them 25 for $2.88 you can do next day air.
Lots of places online and you can get them next day
Do you want me to FM you a list of sites and prices?

No, hon, that's ok, I'll just use the 'tool' I've got!!! Want some choc. seashell candy, Jody? Gotta tell ya what I did last night!! I had a craving for the choc. seashell candy, left from Debi's shower, while I was in bed. Went out to the kitchen table, only to find that someone had taken the sandwich bag of candy!!! Not to worry!! Opened a new bag, left from Debi's shower, and emptied them into another baggie, taking them back to bed. After munching on them, I 'thought' I put them on my nightstand, but this AM, I couldn't find them!!!!! So, I looked in the bed linens and found the baggie!!!!! Picked up the extraneous candy, and went back to sleep!! Got up again, and I guess I missed some of the choc. candy, because it had melted on my sheets!!!! Are you still bored?? Mary MOB

Hope your son doesn't get into that bag... not sure where is has been now Actually I am not bored my back just hurts (so I am vegging in bed with the laptop) from sitting in one place all day printing invite envelopes then assembling invites at least they are finally done.

Mmmmm, had to go get some to munch on!!!! Wish I had a laptop!!!! That would be cool to be portable!!!! Sorry to hear about your back!!!!!!!! Debi got her petals!! They're freeze dried, and so tiny and cute!! She gave Fred one!!! She put them into her organza bags already. You know what would be cool?? If we LIW gals all lived so close, that whenever any Bride needed extra hands to help, we could all help!!!! I was thinking earlier that if I had 100 people to cut one tulle circle at the same time, I'd be done!!!!!!!!!!!! Mary MOB
