How long does it take to cut 100 tulle circles?? BIG LIGHT BULB MOMENT AND UPDATE!!!!

A longgggggggggggggggggggggg time!!! I have 29 cut!!!!!! The paper pattern I'm using is certainly getting smaller and smaller, and smaller. Not really, would anyone like to help me cut circles, and get UPC stickers off sandbuckets?????? Back to the circles!!!!! Mary MOB


So glad THE GOOD LORD gave me a common sense idea last night, that I put into action this AM, and as a result, I now have 100+ circles ready for the bubbles!!! I'm not a sewer, but perhaps some of you who are will understand. I got the idea to layer the tulle, and use two circle patterns at a time, thus getting eight circles cut at a time!!!! I was finished in no time AND the circles were much nicer, and more uniform!!!!! On to getting the UPC'S off buckets!!!! I tried the acetone. Didn't work, so I'm going to do the googone, and wash the area off. Mary MOB

Mary, try scraping the UPC things off with a razor blade. If you do it very carefully, you should be able to get them off very easily without breaking the bottle and hence getting bubbly soap all over the place!

And get your DH to help you tonight! Why are you doing this all by yourself????

Well, I don't mind!! My DH helped a lot with cutting those 1000+ leather bookmarkers for Debi's Camp kids, but I'm not sure about more delicate things like the bubbles. He is going to make a sandbox for all the adirondack chair favors!! Debi is up to her ears in planning a huge awards dinner, for next Tuesday night!!!!! And she didn't feel well last evening Tonight Deb and Fred have their last two sessions of premarital counseling.. Mary MOB

Go to your local harware store or lowes and pick up a bottle of Goo Gone - grocery stores usually carry this too. It has a citrus scent and is oily so not good for poroius items but great to remove stickers,gum, etc from plastics, metal, etc. Seriosly, it works ...oh and so does WD-40 (which also takes crayon off of paint..remeber this for the future)

As for tulle circles - I know you wnated the color to match for Deb but make your life easier and get pre cut white tulle - call you local fabric/craft shop or dollar tree. If not stack a pile up and cut -
