How long does ordering invitations take?

Hello all. My wedding is in June, and it just occurred to me that I need to order invitations! Hehehe. How long do they usually take to come in once ordered?

I guess it depends on where you order them from, but my wedding is in June too and you should probably start now. I went to Simply Elegant in Bayside and ordered them last tuesday, they should be in by the end of this week. But, you need to leave time for possible mistakes, collecting addresses, printing/calligraphy addresses, stamping, etc. Then, send them out around 8 weeks before (standard I think depending on where guests are).

How long does ordering invitations take?

We ordered engraved invitations and we were told to expect up to two weeks. I think they came in within 10 days. So it depends on your printing process (thermography vs. engraved). Some of those catalog (on-line) printers can do a turn around in 3 or so days. We are sending ours invites out exactly 2 months before.
