How long for a Maggie?

Hi, ladies!

There seem to be a lot of Maggie Sottero girls, so I thought you all might be the best group to ask. We're planning a late April/early May wedding (we have holds on two dates at two separate places and just need to hammer out the details). I seem to love each Maggie dress I see more than the one before it! My question is, how long did yours take to come in once you ordered it? I only ask because in the Bridal Bargains book, they say that her dresses often come in pretty late and take quite a long time -- since I have not officially tried one on yet (am focusing on the whole reception thing) I am wondering if I have time to find one, order it, have it altered, and still get married in it by late April/early May.

Any info is greatly appreciated...Thanks!

I had the Miami dress. I ordered it in January of 2002, it came in March of 2003. Maggie Sottero goes by your wedding date, so it may not take as long.

my bridal shop said to allow 9 months. i ordered mine towards the end of june & my wedding is 4/17. they told me i needed to order by the very beginning of july at the latest to make sure i will get it in time

i ordered mine November 13th and it came in April 30th.

I ordered mine April 2003 and it is supposed to be in by September 15th (or so).

It does depend on your wedding date. What I did was.... well... I LIED. I am right after the holidays, so I was afraid that if it was delayed it might get really delayed, so I lied & said my wedding was December 19th

I was told it takes about 5-6 months for Maggie Sottero. You can get a Maggie Sottero and if for some reason you are worried it will not be in in time, they will rush order it for you. It's just that it will most likely cost you more $.

I ordered mine in on March 28th and it came in 3 weeks ago.
