We were unofficially engaged last summer. We started looking at places soon after but stalled until we were officially engaged in March, I joined and started posting about a month afer

I started lurking sometime early in the year, when i knew the ring was actually on its way.

Cool...we've all been around for either a little or a while. I was interested to see if I am on too much...but I see with the exception of a few, that I am posting on an average rate. My mom says that I'm so busy, how do I have time on here. I tell her that some people are on this site 24/7 and/or have a zillion posts and she doesn't believe me....she said that they must be members for years or not have anything better to do...I had to do this thread to give her accurate information lol. Nice to see I'm a part of the norm (as far as she's concerned at least...MOM's!! lol)

really, we joined about the same time but i think you have 5 times fold my posts almost, that cant be the norm! LOL!

I'm comparing my posts to the others on this site...you aren't really on much, compared to me and lots others at least lol. Unless you come on daily, there's no way you'd have a lot of posts..I'm convinced! lol

It's an addiction..I've faced it and so have many others. Myspace was so addicitive at first....then I got over it. I am waiting for that to happen here..I mean, what I'm guessing is that once we all have all of the answers we need, that there won't be much need for so much posting. I'm sure that helping Newbies will be equally as fun! LOL For now, I'll enjoy having a place to come when my kids are doing their work!

I think i joined a year a before we booked our hall. I always knew we were getting married, but this site helped so much, and the wedding i thought i always wanted, turned into something completely different.

I started lurking after we got engaged in januray of 06 but my job had it rigged so we couldn't post on these types of sites. Then I joined and started posting in the evenings and finally got a new job where i can post on the computer at work! :)

I have been on since Oct 2006. So about 8 months! I think I signed on the day after I got engaged (Oct. 13th)

I joined in november (i think?) 2006 but I didn't want to post anything until I was officially engaged (I knew it was gonna happen though, that's why I joined) so I was a lurker until January 2007

I've been a member since March...
I got engaged on New Year's Eve and joined the knot the next day. boy was that a mistake. i was so excited when i heard about this site, and i'm so glad i joined!
you ladies are all so awsome, i'd be lost in the process without you!
