Hi ladies I have a meeting with our priest on feb 7th to get out foccus results back and to start setting up a schedule for Precana. What should I expect, are all precanas the same? in the church vs in house etc???????
There are different ways to take precana. You can do the in house which means that you go to someone's house for a certain amount of time for a certain amount of weeks or you can do a weekend precana where you and FI go away (usually to a retreat site) for the weekend or you can do the one day precana (usually from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on a Sat ).
Ours is 6 sessions over a 4 week period!
Ours was one session a week for 4 weeks. Not too painful
I did the one day precana.
I'm halfway through it now. Ours is six Thursday nights plus a mass. Each Thursday night is from 8-10.

We lucked out with Pre-cana. It was suppose to be 1xweek for 5 weeks at someones house. Our supervisors went away one week, so they canceled one. And we both agree it's not as bad as we thought it would be.
