How long is the gap between ceremony & reception

Hi girls,
I've gotten so much advice from past brides on this so I think I'm going to stick with the ceremony @ 3 and the CH @ 7..this leaves a huge gap..but oh well ..i just wanted to know how big everyone else's gap was..count from the end of the ceremony approx to the beginning of CH

umm for me prob less than an hour..well def that-the ceremony starts at 1230 and the ch starts at 1 haha...i just didnt want time between

ceremony at 2:30 reception at 7:30.. so a 5 hour gap We are probably going to a different location to get pictures. These were the only times that the church adn the reception hall had

Our ceremony is 11:30 and the CH starts at 1. I wish I had more time in between but the RH couldn't move back the CH start time and the church does funerals in the morning.

Same for me... I don't mind it though bc I don't want to be rushing around. We have plenty of time to take pics and just enjoy the day!

my ceremony starts at 2pm and my CH starts at 7pm. By the time the ceremony ends and our church pics are done it'll be 3:30pm. And we are an hour from the hall so guests have to leave Brooklyn by 5:30-6pm. FILs are hosting a gathering at the house for the down time between.

My ceremony and reception will be at same location. Reception immediately following the ceremony.

We have a 2:30 church ceremony and then cocktail hour @ 6. But the church and the RH are 15 minutes apart.

we are getting married at our hall so no gap.. i say either leave enough time for your guests to go straight there and not much more, or leave enough time for them to drive home, relax a while, and then drive to the hall.

an in between amt of time can be annoying

We are getting married at 2:30 pm and the CH starts at 6:30pm. So by the time the ceremony is done about a 3 hour gap. My mom is worried about the guests but they will find something in between I'm sure. I've been to plenty of weddings with a gap in between, and always came up with a plan for what to do in between. I'm glad for the time I can get most of my pics done b/c FH really wants to make it to the CH.

Our guests have to go right to RH. JMO I hate having to wait around till the recpetion starts so our ceremony ends around 6 and the cocktail hour is at 7. Also, we have tons of OOT guests so they will go right to the hotel and take a bus. They have about 20 min to do all that. Thats just me.
