Any girls having a cathedral train on their gown? I'm undecided... It's pretty but seems hard to maneuver in lol

I'm having a sweep. Couldn't deal with the thought of a train at all.

Re: How long is the train on your gown?
I love the look of cathedral length but FH and I are getting married at the RH, so I didn't go for a long train.
I would go for the detachable cathedral train if doing a religous ceremony at a church.
Hope that helps

Re: How long is the train on your gown?
When I was trying on dresses I wanted a chapel train. The dress I bought actually has a semi-cathedral length train and its long! I love it though, but I am slightly concerned with how the bustle will look and it staying up. It is also pretty heavy, so that might be something you want to think about as well.

I wanted a dress without a train, but it's really hard to find one like that, so I ended up getting a dress with a very minimal sweep train. :)

I am having a cathedral train. When you bustle your train, it will look beautiful.

I'm having a cathedral train also, I just love the way it looks when you walk down the aisle and I love the way it looks when its bustled. I know it will be heavy, but its the only day where I can ever where a train like that! lol

I had a cathedral train on my dress, its not so hard to work with, its heavy to carry but that is it. And its a piece of cake when bustled

I had a cathedral veil....small train. The church has a nasty turn in it...the veil wasn't the easiest to turn the corner.

My train was slightly longer than chapel but not quite cathederal. It wasn't hard at all. In fact I spent a portion of my reception with the train down b/c DH stepped on the end of my bustle and broke it about 2 seconds in to our first dance. The bridal attendant pinned it after our 1st dance and then my cousin stepped on it and broke the pins they used in place of the broken buttons. I think I left it down for a little while and then the bridal attendant re- pinned everything up. Oh, well I never even got to see my bustle at the wedding

Same here. I carried the my dress for a little while when we were taking some outdoor pictures before the ceremony, because the ground was wet, but it never felt heavy. I actually like the way the pictures came out. Awesome shot of us walking up the stairs with my dress spread out behind. Couldn't feel it at all when the dress was bustled.

I love cathedral length gowns and I also will be having 2 gowns so the maneuvering issue wont be a problem for me I will be changing after the first couple dances-- hth
