How long is your dress?

My dress after being altered hits the floor and I'm not sure if it's too long or if that's how it needs to be. I didn't walk around at the seamstress so I didn't try to walk in it until I got home (I didn't even think to do it at the seamstress). I do remember on other people that dresses usually hit the floor a little even when it's bustled. Should I have it shortened more? I really can't tell, I'm also just not used to walking in a dress that has three layers and is so ornate at the bottom.

Edit: I know this is a convoluted post and I just looked up some pictures of the dress and I think I'm just a klutz about walking around in it haha
