I am wondering when I should go for my dress, how long does it u sually take to get in?

It really depends on your designer. On these boards I've seen brides get their dresses as quickly as off the rack to as long as over a year. Mine is taking 5 months (but it was almost a rush delivery)

i have a maggie sottero dress...its taking 7-8 months. i hear they take a long time.

I ordered mine in June and it's not coming in until late February. So about 9 months.

i ordered mine in July of 06 and suppose to get it in April. So about 10 months....AHHHH
I completely changed everythin though. The fabric is different, I extended the dress about a foot. So I guess that makes sense for me.....

they told me 6 to 7 months god i hope it comes in faster.

i ordered mine from paradise bridal last feb, they said it wouldnt be in until jan 07-but it came in may 06! go figure!

They told me 6 months, but the salon won't call me into have it fitted until 3-4 months before the wedding.

It really depends on the designer and the shop. I ordered a Demetrios Couture from Paradise Bridal in Patchogue. I placed the order in April 2005 but they didn't schedule it to come in until 8 weeks before my wedding, so it arrived April 2006; about a year to come in.
