I am wondering when I should go for my dress, how long does it u sually take to get in?

It really depends on the designer and the shop. I ordered a Demetrios Couture from Paradise Bridal in Patchogue. I placed the order in April 2005 but they didn't schedule it to come in until 8 weeks before my wedding, so it arrived April 2006; about a year to come in.

I have the feeling that's the case for many brides.... no company could stay in business if it always took a year to manufacture

I ordered mine through RK no frills, and they literally placed the order with san patrick within minutes of receiving my deposit. It was expected within 3 months, but arrived in just over 2....

I just ordered a Maggie Sottero dress and was told it will be in 18-20 weeks from now.

Mine did not take long at all (maybe 2 weeks), but I was told that it could take up to 6 months. The store rushed mine only because I had a 5 month engagement.

I ordered mine in September and I am still waiting. They orignially told me it would probably come in March--- I hope!! I can't wait to see it.
If it comes in March--that's 6 months.

I've heard 8 months for my Demetrios...I just ordered it a little over a month ago so, I'm thinking it will come in the end of summer.

they told me 8-10... it's looking like it will be more like 11 though, at this point. They're supposed to call me soon and let me know exactly when it will come in.

Mine is a Symphony gown and I ordered it in October and it's supposed to come in this week. I can't wait!!!

mine should be in on April 1st or earlier ... that would be about 8 months for mine

I ordered mine in January, it's supposed to come in in April. It better come then, or I might have to be naked for the wedding!

We didn't have to rush order it, though.
