How long is your E-pic shoot and what kind of pics are you getting?
Our photographer is including the E-shoot in the city . . . but it's only 30 minutes long and all we get is a disk with pics. Just trying to figure out if this is A. Enough time and B. If most people gets pics, a book, SOMETHING after the shoot besides a disk lol!
Can you ladies tell me how long your E shoot is/was and what kid of pics (if any) you got included? I don't mind printing them online but it might be a little annoying that way. Thanks in advance!

our E shoot was about 3 hours. If your shoot is about 30 mins long I would scout out places so you know where you want to shoot and things so you dont waste time.
We got our CD and I made an e-pic book on mypublisher.com and displayed it at our wedding.

Im not sure how long mine is b/c i havent had it yet, but in my contract they are providing me with 3 or 4 prints and the rest I can pay for...

we didnt have a set time ...but ours lasted about 30 minutes (40 min max). he took about 120 pics in that time. and they gave it to us on a CD. they color corrected everything in advance.
they also told us which ever pics we like best, they will work on it more (i guess photoshop effects or whatever) and they will design our save the date
i thought it was fine. no complaints!

Ours lasted about 1 hour. FH and I went to the site and chose places we wanted to take pics and our photog's did the same. So when the day came we all knew where we wanted to take pics; so we didn't have to search for the perfect spots and best lighting.
We only got a CD of all the pics they took and I plan to print out a book with all the photo's.

My E-pics started at about 1ish and ended around 5. We got 2 CD's with it (One for emailing/ipod and one for printing). I just made my photo book with my publisher on Monday.

Thanks for the responses and also for the website for making the book, I'll definitely do that since it's not included. I'm a little worried that 30 minutes won't be enough and we'll feel rushed but I also can't imagine just taking pics for 4 hours either. I can't imagine the photog just leaving if we haven't gotten enough shots in, right?

Mine will be about 1-2 hours. i've been working with my photographer on places in the city that we want to go and it just so happes he is familiar with both, which is great. We are getting a retouched cd of all of the photos but we are also getting a few printed as per our contract

Mine will be 1-2 hours long. We are taking them in Dumbo @ Jane's Carousel. They are making us our guest book and giving us a CD with all of our images.
I agree with the other girls. If you have 30 mins, you should scope our areas that you would def. want. Good Luck!

Our e-pics took about 1.5 hours. It was scheduled for an hour, but she didn't rush us and took her time composing each picture. I got one free 8x10 e-pic from my package. I ordered a bunch more for family and us. The proofs are being mailed to me (today) so I can have all of them. You have to negotiate what you want in your photography package.
