Onto the actual point of the post... One of the debates we're having is if we should go for 7 nights or 10 nights. He thinks 10 nights is too long. I think 7 is too short because 2 days are travel days. How long is your HM?

Ours is a week and a half. 4 days in Florida and 7 days on a cruise.
I agree -- 7 days can be really short when 2 days are for travelling. Go for 10.

FH initially wanted 7 days.... but I convinced him that we can't see athens, chania, iraklion, and santorini in that time.... so we've extended it to 10 days....![]()

Leaving on a Monday morning, coming back on a Saturday afternoon. But it's only a 3 hr flight. I wanted to do 7 days but it was too $$$$$$$$ I think 7 days is perfect!

I also think a week is too short, especially if you plan on going sightseeing at all. Even for just laying on the beach its kind of short... the last time we went somewhere for a week, it took us pretty much that whole week to figure out the hotel and stuff. I would have liked 2 weeks, but we couldn't afford it.
