How Long is Your HM

FH is going to get strangled in 2.5 seconds! I showed him 6 places and he wants to look at others! I have 3 freakin TAs working with us (don't even get me started on how that happened) and he's still not satisfied. Ok, vent over.

Onto the actual point of the post... One of the debates we're having is if we should go for 7 nights or 10 nights. He thinks 10 nights is too long. I think 7 is too short because 2 days are travel days. How long is your HM?

So it will probably end up being 2 weeks in length.

The longer the better I say!

It depends where you are going. If you're going to Europe or somewhere there is a lot to see, I recommend 10 days.

We went to Aruba (awesome) for 7 nights, and it was enough..

I mean.....the longer the better if you have the time....no vacation can be long enough as far as I'm concerned. But 7 nights in the Carribean really was enough.

2 weeks-- can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can a honeymoon be too long? (other than financial reasons--it can't ever be too long!)

ours was 6 nights 7 days. We had a time restraint because of how long i was in the states. But actually 7 days was long enough, we were ready to have cheap food again!

Ours will be for 7 nights ....

We might have added another day, but then we'd be flying back on the day before thanksgiving (one of the busiest travel days), and didn't want to be stuck in that.

BUT we are taking off from work for a week before the wedding, and not leaving until the Tuesday after our wedding ...

AND since the weekend after we get back is Thanksgiving, we're definitely not going back to work until after the holiday ...

SO ... total time off from work will either be 3 or 4 weeks.

08 crashing - i have traveled in the past and after two weeks you don't want to see the other person (THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE and not bashing anyone else people are diff.). I am not knocking the girls that are fortunate enough to be able to have off for three or more weeks and your going to love your honeymoon.

BUT for what I have experienced after 12 days enough is enough. You want to go home, you want some time off from the person your traveling with, etc. I just advise for those who haven't book to really take that into consideration especially if your like me who loves to travel and loves to be active and do many things and sightsee but at one point you crash. You get cranky and your traveling partner gets cranky - 12 days tops!
