technically it was 3 bc we started 'seeing eachother may 31st 03 and he he proposed may 31st 06

Over 6 1/2 years. We kept on talking about it, and it finally happend in July of 2006. It was def about time. I was getting really upset at one point bec all my friends were getting married or engaged. I felt left out. But I waited and it was well worth it

I am the 1st to get engaged out of my girl friends...they have only been dating their guys less than 2 years...I think I would have flipped a lid if they got engaged before me...is that wrong?!?! lol

but we had talked about it after we had been dating for a year...we knew we wanted to marry each other as soon as we dated-- well FH knew he wanted to marry me since we were 13 and he saw me standing in my kitchen with a sports bra (probably a training bra though ) and dance pants

--Fh is my brothers good friend and has been a family friend for 14yrs already!!

so i dont think it was too quick to get engaged and i knew after our first kiss he was the one!!

2 and a half years....and I nagged him about it literally like an hour before he proposed! He had planned it all along and had the ring in his pocket and everything but he was telling me that he doesn't want to be rushed into something that important and when he's ' 100% sure i'm the right one, then he'll 'CONSIDER' taking that step... I was SOOOO pissed and offended!! I couldn't believe he was actually doubting me... he really had me fooled...and pissed...but then I felt stupid for being mad after he actually did it! He's such a sneaky lil devil!!
