How long to close?

What's your average timeframe to close? Is it flexible. We are thinking about puttting a bid on a house, but we will be away the week that it 'could' close.

Just wondering if we calculated correctly....

You can actually push the week of your close out a week if your lock permits. It can take anywhere from 30-90 days to close. Most people I have spoken to have closed in about 45 days. I just did a refi and it took 45 days.
