I'm trying to make a schedule for the big day and I don't know how long to allot for pics! We're doing them before the ceremony. I was thinking 3 hours but someone said that seemed like a long time. Anyone out there know? Thanks!

My photographer said about an hour per location, we are doing my house, beach and golf course, wedding is at 6pm photg. said he'll be at my house at 2pm, at 3 he's meeting the guys at the beach, then we want to be at the golf course at 430 done with pics by 530 to go over ceremony and boom you're done. HTH
I was just freaking out about this a couple of weeks ago. We're doing pictures with the bridal party from 3-4:30 and family pictures from 5:15-6:00/6:30. So about 2.5 - 3 hours for the pre-wedding pix...

So my estimate of 3 hours isn't totally crazy! My FMIL thought it sounded too long. Thanks so much for your help!

We did an hour at my house while I was getting ready.
We took pics before the ceremony and did everything in one place. Once we got to the North Ritz Club it was about another 1 3/4 hours of pictures there. It still left me with about 45 minutes to relax before the ceremony.
