boards are slow ... let's complain bout our commutes ...
my 8 mile commute (99% of which involves driving on hempstead turnpike) took me two hours .... it was 'awesome'
ETA: it usually takes me 20 minutes to get here ... after 2 hours of stop-and-go (mostly stop) driving, i've never been so happy to get to work

Um.. no different then usual, about 15 minutes.
I go from bay shore to islandia.
the roads were fine by me.

an hour only.
I knew short cuts but got trapped less than a mile from my job. not tooo bad, normally takes me 35 minutes to get to work, but today was pretty bad.

once i got on the train it was normal... about an hour...
but i drove to the train and realized i forgot my wallet at home... and of course i was barely wet then... when i drive back home i get out of the car and its torrential down pour... with an umbrella i was soaked...
i didnt get in until 9:30

Oddly enough, I didn't hit any traffic! Just terrible driving conditions. Only took about 25 minutes to get here this morning (8 mile commute to Astoria).
PS: I didn't take Northern Blvd which is probably why I didn't hit traffic.

Just an extra maybe 15 minutes. Nothing to extreme. Though I did have to wade through calf deep water to get to the train station.

I worked from home in the morning so left late and it took me an hour and 15 mins as usual. so no complaints here

i'm not working today (off for jewish holidays - love working at a jewish agency) but FH took my car to work ....20 min drive took 2 hrs. GCP was closed by us cuz its a flood area. this weather is ridiculous!
